Lead flashing is one of the most critical elements of a watertight roof. It seals the junctions between the roof covering and walls, chimneys, skylights and other features. A1 Roofing's skilled lead workers hand-dress and fit code 4 and code 5 lead sheet to all flashings, valleys and abutments using traditional bossing and welding techniques.

We replace old, cracked lead that has split due to thermal movement, fix stepped flashings that have been poorly pointed, and install brand-new lead valleys and soakers. Lead is the gold standard for weatherproofing — malleable, extremely durable, and with a lifespan of 100+ years. We also carry out lead flashing repairs where the existing lead needs re-seating and re-pointing.
