Liverpool's exposed chimneys take a real battering from the Mersey weather. Over time, mortar joints erode, brickwork deteriorates, flaunching cracks and chimney pots become loose — all of which can let water into your home. A1 Roofing provides a complete chimney repair and repointing service.

We rake out and repoint deteriorated joints with a durable sand and cement mix, rebuild damaged sections of brickwork, replace cracked flaunching around chimney pots, and fit new cowls or rain caps where needed. We also re-bed and re-seal lead flashings at the chimney base. For chimneys beyond repair, we can reduce, cap and waterproof the stack. All work is carried out from scaffolding for safety.
